Top vfx companies

Hi guys..
what I want to say you now is ,I have been watching that so many guys are searching for VFX companies list in India, but I never understand why they are for...

ANYWAY

according to my view there are 2 types of companies in India, they are doing VFX.....
1.international.
2.domestic

Primarily about the domestic companies these are may or may not successful at quality making but, directors from  less knowledge of VFX feeding these companies. And they are barely appears as idiots for international clients.

But after filtration from all some of the companies that are going in successful way are mentioned here.

2ndly about the international companies in India, these are either Indian born or from foreign.
But whatever the thing ,some of these companies dealing with domestic- international projects and some companies are tied for international alone.

1.international .... companies in India(both locals and non-locals)

    1. Adding a more degree is very important in other feilds but wen we talk bout animation industry ,dere is no need og adding an other degree . You are a graduate ,its is sufficient,But the main thing is what have you learned in your college.

  10. Hi,
I'm thinking about going to India to study VFX. I've asked about some courses in different schools but I don't know which city should I study in, so I wonder if you could help me with this. Do you know which city has a larger VFX industry? Could you give me an advice about the schools where to study?

    Thank you

    Regards,
    Gon

    1. Hi, sorry for later reply.it is complete useless stuff to know about which city has large VFX industry. you can't do job in 2 companies simultaneously. what you wanted to do actually? ...a business or marketing job or artistic job in here in VFX industry. If you are really needy to know about larger structure then you must going to do business here , right? then try to complete MBA in business management. reply me if you understood my point.
( i dont have great knowledge on this business stuff).

  12. hi am working in IT company for 8 years , but now want to join in VFX which is my passion since i started career. Can i join in vfx and start career in vfx at this 30+ age?.Is it a right move.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I say it is worst step at this age.No t about age,VFX may be a wrong choice for a career step.it is ok if you have lot of happiness and want to spend some time on your hobby. If you can able to work for more hours without getting paid for extra hours, ready for less salaries ,ready for less time to spend with family and friends, then it is your choice make your life hell.. I can say it is very good in one way, that you can go to abroad and learn a good course for lakhs of rupees ,then you may have a choice to settle there in western companies,so you can earn really good amount. But believe this is more fate than hardwork

    2) i am really surprised to see this many Indians interested in vfx.....sir can you plz start a fb page so that we all can discuss about vfx with proper guidance from pro.s like you.....

    1. Hi ...aah...yes this is the answer..

1).. less important, but useful at some point...
If you wanted to become a concept artist,Matte painter, graphic designer,UI designer, story board artist, web designer, game designer...yes it is 100 % needed.

all of these which I have mentioned here not belongs to VFX INDUSTRY..but more creativity and patience, hardworking nature, sustainability, independent nature is needed along with drawing skills....this is one hell of industry.

If you are a born artist and/or thirsty to drawing, then never stop it.You may not imagine, how it will provoke a greater idea in future.keep on my friend

  20. What is the growth potential of VFX industry in India. If one has to start new venture in VFX field how much capital is needed. Will it survive or is there fierce competition?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Pramod You should start with minimum of 50 lakhs for VFX. Or else to you can sit in your apartment hall by just paying your power bills , salaries and hardware equipment with just 10 PC's. But at the last point you will end up in ideas with ' how many clients you know'. That matters the most. What do you say? That's the factor of competition.

  22. Thanks for this information. But i want to ask that why VFX artist has no life. Why they don't have 8 or 9 hours job. As you said that they work 24x7, overtime & no overtime payment & also less salary. They cant enjoy family & friends. Is all this true? Please make it clear. I am scared.

  24. I've been working as a CG generalist for 2.5 years....now I'm looking forward to do full time compositing (nuke)..... Which is a better choice in long term...?
To be a generalist and work in small companies or to go for specific job in bigger studious.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi anonymous,first ..I like your name( kidding,... :)),
k.. hmmm ..see it is wrong that, your thinking 'doing generalist work' is not at all mean to locked for small companies, Many big companies around globe are seeking generalists. In fact generalist job is one of the most respective jobs in VFX industry and High paid also. As you are clear about long term, I can suggest that being in Generalist category won't hurt you but as you are keen to nuke improve it in much professional way(if not yet),so it will help you to change jobs and makes your resume so strong....
Then You can be proud of generalist with professional nuke skills. Imagine ,in VFX industry you are always a learner, so being a generalist makes it much more easy to getting introduced with vast variety of soft-wares and technologies....Keep on going dude but ,realize where you are now and try to compare with top stuff always,so you might move to the better place in future, but never hesitate to start from bottom, but make everything clear and never take a bad move which hold yourself a mistake.....All the best...

For faster response feel free to contact at FB.com/venkatdevaved .. Cheers
